Averley Ganss was born in Plano, Texas where she immediately took an interest in dance! She started her first ballet and tap classes at the age of four before moving to the Fraser Valley where she continued to train, adding jazz, hip hop and contemporary to her dance vocabulary. Averley’s talents are widespread; she excels in all genres of dance and is an intuitive, dedicated dancer who strives to improve herself and is always eager to learn. Averley’s current level of ability is, without a doubt, due to her enthusiasm, commitment, and incredible work ethic. Aside from seeking to make a name for herself in the dance community as a professional dancer, she has taken a love for teaching. She strives to be a positive role model for her students and enjoys finding an understanding in how her students learn and what their needs are. She is mindful of all levels and ages and is excited to answer questions and bring her experiences into the classroom.
Averley has been training in Vancouver for the past three joining training programs and groups such as Harbour Dance Centre’s Intensive Training Program, The Aviary, and has been apart or TwoFourSeven Company for the past two years. She has had the honour of being a dancer, model and choreographer for fashion shows such as Kérastase and performing in Vancouver for shows such as Urban Alchemy, Vancouver Tap Society and The Main Event. She has performed with TwoFourSeven for the past two years at Hip Hop International where they have consistently placed top 10 in the world as well as had the pleasure of being invited to the infamous Body Rock in San Diego, performing alongside her inspirations such as Choreo Cookies, Academy of Brothers, and King of Swag.
Averley has now moved to Vancouver where she continues to work towards her goals to pursue a career as a professional dancer and is very excited to encourage and share her knowledge with her students.
