It would be true to say I danced most of my life. That being said, I have been a performer my entire life. Growing up, I never needed a stage to get people’s attention. I had a massive personality and a gripping desire to make people laugh. An amateur entertainer to my very core, I lived for the moments to tell a story through the arts. The platform of engaging people was not out of a place of narcissism- but rather having the ability to remind others not to take themselves too seriously. As I have grown and my interests and priorities have shifted, what remains is my joy of expression. I have developed a passion of mentorship due to the incredible individuals who have inspired me. Now having the opportunity to guide and influence young dancers, the purpose of my role is to encourage them to channel their personal journeys into artistic pieces, sustainable confidence and to cultivate determination to go after whatever it is their heart burns for.
